Matthew Meyers
President
Hi, I’m Matthew Meyers, a member of the Class of 2024 in Berkeley College. I’m considering majoring in Political Science with certificates in Statistics and Data Science and Energy Studies. When I am not preparing for Moot Court, you can find me looking at obscure baseball stats, watching a new sitcom, or doing something outdoors like hiking or biking. Outside of YUMC, I am involved in Every Vote Counts, the Independent Party of the Yale Political Union, and chairing Model UN committees.
Quinn Moss

Hello! I’m Quinn, and I’m an Ethics, Politics, & Economics major in Jonathan Edwards College ’24. In addition to YUMC, I’m involved in the Yale Mock Trial Association and the Progressive Party of Yale. I also volunteer for No Closed Doors, a chapter of the Yale Hunger and Homelessness Action Project. In my free time, I enjoy listening to live music, reading, and spending time with the wonderful members of YUMC!

Hi! I’m Kyle, a junior from outside of Denver, Colorado. Down the road, I’ll be majoring in history or political science. For now, I’m enjoying my studies in everything from physics to literature. Outside of YUMC, you’ll find me coaching a high school mock trial team and working on my recipe for chile de árbol salsa.

Hey! I’m Tejas and I’m from just outside of Richmond, VA. I’m a sophomore in Jonathan Edwards College, majoring in Statistics & Data Science and potentially Global Affairs. Outside of Moot Court, I dance on the Yale Jashan Bhangra team, help run program instruction for Yale’s Hemispheres and am part of Global Research and Consulting at Yale. In my free time, I love listening to 2010’s hits and exploring the wonders of the Elm City!

Hey guys! I’m Jennifer (Jen is also great) and I am a junior in Pauli Murray College. I am a prospective American Studies and Anthropology Double Major and am completing my first year with YUMC. I am super excited to possibly experience an in-person tournament sometime in the future. When I’m not in YUMC meetings I’m most likely advising high school students through Matriculate or promoting events for the Women’s Network at Yale!

Hey! I’m Daniel and I am a senior Global Affairs major. I have been debating ever since I was a little kid trying not to eat my vegetables and have not stopped since. Outside of school, you can find me watching New York sports, reading Foreign Affairs, and taking full advantage of going to school in the pizza capital of America.

Hello! I’m Kevin, and I’m a senior in Pauli Murray College from just outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I’ve been on Moot Court since my first semester at Yale, and it’s been one of my favorite experiences on campus (and off!). Outside of classes, I love to play sports I’m bad at, try foods that are too spicy for me, and indulge in the occasional poker game.

Hi all! I’m Rachel, and I’m so excited to be on moot court at Yale! I’m a junior from outside Philadelphia studying Astronomy and Humanities. I’m super interested in law and politics, as well as in writing and performing music. You can usually find me on coffee runs, listening to music in my room, or studying in Sterling.

Hi all, I’m Will. I’m a sophomore from Brooklyn living in Davenport College. I’m still undecided on my major, but am tentatively leaning towards Global Affairs or History. This is my second year competing for YUMC, and when I’m not in class or reading cases, I’m usually running, drinking coffee, or re-re-watching The Wire.

Dina Garmroudi is a junior from Clarksburg, Maryland majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Outside of YUMC, she is passionate about public/global health equity and is a tutor for Refugee and Immigrant Student Education! She enjoys listening to Daniel Caesar and facetiming her little brother in her free time.

Hi there! My name is Mandy and I am a sophomore from Phoenix, Arizona majoring in Philosophy and the History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health. I am excited to be in YUMC this year and to learn more about constitutional law while I continue my studies on the pre-law track. In my free time, I enjoy playing a variety of musical instruments (most notably the drums in the Davenport basement), reading, and spending time outdoors.
